I'm currently an IT Manager and was previously a qualified professional photographer (British Institute of Professional Photographers - BIPP) I have a keen interest in astronomy and took up astrophotography some five years ago. I'm currently a member of Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society and recently elected a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS)

All photographs featured on this site have been taken from my light polluted garden using the equipment pictured on these pages and all during the last 18 months.

My images have been published in BBC Sky at Night, Astronomy Now and Sky & Telescope Magazines. The Heart Nebula (below left) was NASA Astronomy picture of the day (APOD) on 27th August 2017

I have recently been shortlisted in the Royal Observatory's Astronomy Photographer of the Year (2017) and am now an equipment reviewer for BBC Sky at Night Magazine.

I provide Astrophotography talks for Photographic and Astronomical Societies in the UK.
